The famous 'Carlin' name that has been present in variousmotorsport disciplines across the last 25 years has nowdisappeared. The squad has been renamed to Rodin Motorsport aheadof the new racing season. New Zealand-based manufacturer Rodin Carsbecame the majority shareholder in the team last year and the squadwas rebranded to Rodin Carlin. However, team founder Trevor Carlindeparted the outfit late last year and it has since been rebrandedto Rodin Motorsport. The Farnham-based squad will compete in theFIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships this year. Severalcurrent F1 drivers, including Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz and GeorgeRussell all have history with the team when it ran under themoniker of Carlin. The team will enter this year's F2 championshipwith Red Bull junior Zane Maloney and Super Formula champion RitomoMiyata.
