Nico Hulkenberg has issued a short message to his former TeamPrincipal Guenther Steiner following confirmation that the Italianhas left Haas. The US-owned squad announced on Wednesday thatSteiner had departed the team ahead of the 2024 season. Steiner hadled the team ever since it joined the grid in 2016 but had alsobeen part of the project several years prior to its F1 debut. Inhis place arrives Ayao Komatsu who has been promoted from hisDirector of Engineering role. Hulkenberg spent just one seasonracing under Steiner in F1 after returning to the sport last yearin place of Mick Schumacher. It marked a difficult campaign forHaas, who finished the year at the bottom of the Constructors'Championship for the second time in three years.
