However, Haas stated that he hasnot been left satisified with his team's performance amid itspartnership with Ferrari. “Ferrari has been very good to us,” Haassaid. “They have been with us since day one, they build incredibleengines. “Their suspension is extremely good. We have been using alot of their hardware. It works really well. “They really do helpus. I’m embarrassed that we haven’t been able to do better with itbut going forward, I want to take advantage of good equipment thata lot of other teams don’t have.” Ferrari benefit Haas added thathaving a partner like Ferrari, who has deep roots in F1 history, will be a major benefit for his team going forward. “Things aregoing to get a lot more competitive,” he said. “Red Bull haveAlphaTauri, we’re starting to see these relationships evolve, and Ithink the competition is going to be very intense, so having apartner like Ferrari is going to be very important.” “We’re veryhappy to stay with Ferrari. I hope we can help them in terms ofreliability. Going forward, when Sauber drops Ferrari power [in2026], we would be Ferrari’s only user. “They might want to pick upa customer or two. Maybe they’ll be happy with us. But we have gotto do better. We can’t be running so far behind Ferrari. We need tobe closer to them.”
