Can Red Bull have another dominant season and surpass their 2023season? After winning 21 out of 22 Grands Prix you would probablysay this would be a difficult feat to achieve again. Max Verstappenwould have to recreate his unbeaten run of 11 wins in a row, whilealso surpassing his own record of 12 poles in a season. SergioPerez would also have to improve on his two races victories, havingstruggled to match his teammate. Red Bull's Test and Reservedriver, and incidentally the 2023 Formula E champion, expects theteam to pick up where they left off for 2024 with the RB20. "We'vegot an extremely fast race car again at the Red Bull team," saidDennis when speaking to The Mirror . "I would expect us to becomechampions again, unless someone like Ferrari or Mercedes somehowmanages to find about a second [per lap] overnight. I think it'sgoing to be quite a dull season in F1 with Max probablydominating." Dennis: We switch development to 2024 quickly Dennisadmits that Red Bull stopped developing the successful RB19 quiteearly on to shift focus to their 2024 challenger. "I'd be lying ifI said we didn't switch our attention to the 2024 car quitequickly," said Dennis. "We didn't do any development on the 2023car after Singapore." The Brit sees Verstappen's dominance isadvantageous for Formula E, as the championship looks to increaseits global reach after a few years of stagnation. "It's so dominantfrom Max right now, it really brings new viewers to Formula E. Itbrings our championship alive because we just don't have that - wehave a championship which is extremely difficult and close," heexplained. "We have 20 cars within two or three seconds on certaintracks, so it's a lot more exciting and a lot more enjoyable forthe fans, I would say. We just need to branch out there to a biggeraudience for Formula E and get plenty of exposure, which is what isneeded for the championship to take it to the next level."
