It was a great year for Felipe Drugovich. The Brazilian took the Formula 2 title in 2022 by a huge margin and, as a result, the doors at Formula 1 teams should fly wide open. That's the theory anyway. Practice proved a lot more recalcitrant: a reserve role at Aston Martin was all that was possible.
