Horner hoped for more than P6 for Verstappen during sprint qualifying

Christian Horner had expected there to be more in it for Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen during sprint qualifying than a P6. The Dutchman set the sixth fastest time in the final part of qualifying which means he will have to start the sprint race from sixth on Saturday. It slightly disappointed the Austrian formation's team boss. A surprised Christian Horner said that Red Bull "thought the circuit would suit the car better" at the Qatar Grand Prix as Max Verstappen had a disappointing qualifying session. The Dutchman was only able to take P6 in sprint qualifying for the race tomorrow, a result that the British team boss could not understand.
