F1 Full Results | Hamilton tops timing screens as testing after morning

Lewis Hamilton is at the top of the timing charts in his Ferrari after the morning session on the second day of testing. Following Hamilton is his former teammate George Russell at Mercedes, followed by Carlos Sainz in Williams. Drama came between Hulkenberg and Piastri as there was contact between the drivers when Piastri dove down the inside of the Sauber. The most laps were completed by George Russell who was busy driving over 70 laps around the track whereas Liam Lawson only completed 28. This is Lawson's final day of this Bahrain testing as teammate Max Verstappen has the full day tomorrow, so the New Zealand driver will want a busy afternoon to be fully prepared for Melbourne. We are now midway through testing at Bahrain whch continues in the afternoon.
