Life is sometimes unfair," six-time Grand Prix winnerSchumacher explained to Bild. "Michael had often been lucky in hislife, but then came this tragic accident. Thank goodness we wereable to do a lot thanks to modern medical possibilities, but still, nothing is the same as before." "I can say for myself that hisaccident was also a very bad and drastic experience for me. But notonly for me, for example, but also for Michael's children: Mick, aswe all know, was there as a young teenager. "Unfortunately, life isnot always fair and there was also a lot of bad luck involved."Michael is not just my brother, he was also my coach and mentorwhen I was younger. "He taught me everything about karting. We maybe seven years apart in age, but he was always by my side backthen. "We drove karts together, practised overtaking, all thosethings that are important in motorsport. He gave me all theexperience he had gained in the previous seven years. I was simplyable to learn from the best."
