For the sixth season in a row Team Principals in Formula 1 havevoted who they think are the best drivers of the year on the grid.In the poll conducted by F1.com , Team Principals from all 10 teamson the grid were asked to anonymously submit their top 10 driversof the year. These were then compiled using the current F1 pointssystem, with the top driver in each list receiving 25 points downto one for 10th. Each were then combined to create a ranking, whichyou can see below. Team Principals Driver of the YearUnsurprisingly it is Max Verstappen who tops the list for the thirdtime in a row, after the Dutchman dominated the season with 19 winsand 12 poles. He also set a number of records on the way to histhird world title, achieving 240 points out of a maximum 250 andhaving bested his points tally from 2022 by 33 points. FernandoAlonso came out second in the poll, six places on where he was lastyear after his impressive season at the wheel of the Aston Martin.Lando Norris was third after achieving seven podiums following amid-season turnaround for McLaren, which puts him three places upon the list compared to last year. George Russell slipped the mostplaces at six down to ninth on the list, while new entries includeOscar Piastri and Alex Albon following strong seasons. Do you agreewith the team bosses?
