Verstappen fastest in FP3 as Mercedes follow Red Bull closely in Japan
Max Verstappen finished in P1 in FP3 of the 2024 Japanese Grand Prix. The Dutchman proved to be quick on both the medium and soft tyres, even though he had some trouble with his mirror. Verstappen's fastest lap time was a 1:29.563. The Top 3 was rounded off by the defending world champion's teammate, Sergio Perez, and George Russell.
