The role: We are seeking aproven editor with strong leadership skills to take charge of ourdaily content team for the .com domain while providing strategicinput for our future content plans. You will be a professionaljournalist with wide-ranging experience in similar roles and beable to demonstrate proven management skills. You will be aself-starting, highly motivated digital native who will operateunder guidance of the Group CEO and Manager Operations and berequired to: Lead and guide a talented team of writers Take controlof content flow Contribute editorial pieces Manage rotas andpublishing schedules Liaise with other outlet(s) withinRacingNews365 Group to co-ordinate timings Oversee social mediapostings Apply analytics to drive growth and support news/featurecoverage Prepare and maintain comprehensive feature plansCo-ordinate with other RacingNews365 Group editorial teams whereapplicable Co-ordinate with our marketing department You will have:A demonstrable passion for, and excellent knowledge of, F1 andmotorsport Exceptional organisational skills and attention todetail The ability to deliver copy to the highest editorialstandards The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure Anexcellent grasp and understanding of SEO best practices Aprofessional approach, whether working remotely or on location Theability to work in, and contribute to, a fun and dynamic team-basedenvironment Proven success in the management of newsrooms, remoteor office-based Professional English proficiency, preferably withknowledge of another language Ability to work shifts - includingnights and weekends as per sporting calendars Ability to travel tomotorsport events on an as-and-when basis A minimum of three years'experience in a similar position This is a full-time role with a1-2 month trial period.
