Max Verstappen has revealed which track he would like to see on theFormula 1 schedule going forward. The three-time World Championnamed Mugello in Italy, a track owned by Ferrari. Mugello isprimarily used for MotoGP racing but F1 ventured to the circuit in2020 during the season impacted by Covid-19. “For me, Mugello,”Verstappen said on the Talking Bull podcast when asked to chooseone race to add to the calendar. “[Because of the] track layout.There are so many fast corners and in an F1 car, it’s so nice.” Atthe 2020 race around the Mugello Circuit, the Grand Prix was won byLewis Hamilton, with Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas takingsecond place. Verstappen retired on the opening lap of the raceafter being involved in a multi-car collision. Verstappen's mindsetfor 2024 Verstappen enjoyed a highly dominant campaign, triumphingat 19 out of the 22 races en route to his third World Championship.The Dutchman is the favourite to succeed in the title fight againnext year amid Red Bull's strong run of form. When asked if he willchange his approach for the 2024 campaign, Verstappen said: “Everyyear is a little bit different. “That also depends, of course, howgood the car is going to be. But I think you also just rely a loton your experience. “I mean, you've experienced already a lot inyour career and in F1 and you know that if you want to fight for achampionship, the most important thing is the car. “But besidesthat, your performances need to be very consistent and that'ssomething that you have to try and achieve again. “Every singleyear it's a new challenge, to try and do that.” Do you agree withMax Verstappen's choice?
